History and Philosophy

History

Hinn's Homes got its start in 1971. Owners Lloyd and Leslie Hinn entered into the mobile home business through unexpected circumstances. Receiving a used mobile home as restitution for a problem that developed in another business they owned, Lloyd and Leslie decided to fix it up and sell it. The rest, as they say is history. Intrigued by the experience, they got into the mobile home business and began building a regional reputation for honesty, quality, and great customer service.

Four decades later, this industry has changed considerably. "Mobile homes" are a thing of the past, replaced by today's superior modular homes and manufactured housing. But Lloyd and Leslie's family business continues on, now managed by son Terry Hinn and a dedicated staff of housing professionals.

The commitment to customer service is as strong as ever, and the reason Hinn's Homes has remained a strong enterprise while other modular home firms have failed in today's challenging economy.

Philosophy

Visit any business website and you won't be surprised to see a pledge of "customer service," but at Hinn's it's the foundation of our business model. Our priority is to provide each customer with a quality home, not to push the models that are most profitable to sell. In assisting with financing, we make sure the transaction is financially viable and in the customer's long-term interest. Our challenge is always to give our customer more than they expect.
